United Way of Miami County celebrating lasting legacy

MIAMI COUNTY, IN- For the past 65 years, the United Way has created a lasting legacy in Miami County. In 2021, we assisted 33,831 members of our community with critical services and initiatives focused on food insecurity, mental health, education, homelessness, domestic abuse, addiction, and community safety. We expect the number of people in need to be even greater this year given inflation and the lingering impact of the pandemic.

You can strengthen our community impact by sponsoring our events, donating an auction item for the Sapphire Gala on August 6, or hosting a campaign drive for your employees. 

The following information details the variety of ways that you can make a difference in the lives of many during our milestone anniversary. We sincerely appreciate your consideration.

Lasting Legacy Sponsor $5,000:
Be a presenting sponsor for three major United Way 2022 events: Sapphire Gala (Aug 6), Splish Splash Festival & Duck Race (Aug 20) and the Festival of Trees & Gingerbread Village (Nov 12-Dec 4). Includes top tier logo placement in promotional materials, banners, 2022 Annual Report and thank you ads. Opportunity to address audience as well as verbal recognition of company by the emcee. Includes a VIP table of 8 at the Sapphire Gala on Aug 6.

Sapphire Sponsor $2,500:
Includes one VIP table of 8 at the Sapphire Gala on Aug 6 and tier 2 logo recognition directly below Lasting Legacy sponsors at all three major events in 2022.

Gold Sponsor $1,000:
Includes four tickets to the Sapphire Gala on Aug 6 and tier 3 logo recognition at all three major events in 2022, Annual Report and thank you ads.

Up your odds to win the second annual duck race at our riverside special festival on Aug 20 by buying a dozen rubber ducks.

Attend the Sapphire Gala $65/ticket $480/table of 8:
Join us to celebrate our 65th anniversary in style with Monte Carlo gaming, delicious food, dancing, live and silent auction, and cash bar.

Festival of Trees $25:
Be an inaugural participant in our first annual holiday event by decorating a tree or gingerbread house. Rules and details to be provided soon. Setup will be Nov. 10-11. Free event will be open to public at the Riverview Event Center Nov 12 through Dec 4.

Host a United Way Campaign in Your Office:
A United Way representative will give a short presentation and distribute campaign materials to introduce your employees to how they can support the United Way’s impact in our local community. We make the process turnkey!
