MIAMI COUNTY, IN- The United Way of Miami County Board of Directors, Special Events Committee, and staff would like to thank the teachers and students who participated in this year’s Spring coloring contest. The Special Events Committee works throughout the year to impact Miami County residents through community awareness activities, and the coloring contest is one way that the Committee brings attention to their efforts. They are proud of and thankful for the citizens of Miami County who helped make this another successful event.
This year’s Spring contest had a total of 279 entries. Entries included students from Blair Pointe Elementary, Elmwood Elementary & Pre-K, Home School students, Maconaquah Elementary & Middle School, Main Street United Methodist Preschool, North Miami Elementary, Pipe Creek Elementary, St. John’s Preschool and YMCA Preschool.
They also extend a special thank you to the staff at these organizations that encouraged their students to participate.
