Solar Eclipse 2024 at Salamonie and Mississinewa Lakes April 6-8

ANDREWS, IN- The Great American Eclipse on April 8 will sweep across much of Indiana giving people an opportunity to witness a rare, once-in-a-lifetime event.

Throughout the afternoon on April 8, all of Indiana will be able to see the moon gradually pass in front of the sun, dimming the daytime sky. In a 70-mile-wide path, stretching from the southwest to the northeast of the state, the moon will completely block the sun resulting in a total solar eclipse.
