Sgt. Nick Brubaker retired from the Wabash City Police Department on
March 24, 2021. Sgt. Brubaker started his public service with the United
States Army from 1988-1992. Sgt. Brubaker served in Desert Storm in
- Sgt. Brubaker returned to Wabash County and joined the Wabash
County Sheriff’s Department working as a jail officer. In 1997, Sgt.
Brubaker joined the North Manchester Police Department. On April 26,
2000, Sgt. Brubaker joined the Wabash City Police Department. During Sgt.
Brubaker’s tenure, he was a member of the Wabash County Drug Task
Force and a Uniform Sergeant on patrol. Sgt. Brubaker was the
department’s firearms instructor and was instrumental in implementing
patrol rifles for the department. Sgt. Brubaker has now joined Parkview
