Sears Might Return To Marion After A Three-Year Absence

MARION,Indiana – As our readers know, Five Points Mall lost one of their anchor stores, Sears, back in January of 2013. Well, after more than a three-year absence, Sears would like to return to Grant County. It turns out that the Sears store that closed did very well selling hard line goods at the Five Points Mall Location.
So with that in mind, Sears feels that the market is still here – but for a Sears Hometown Store. The retailer’s Hometown Stores only sell hard line items so it would be a perfect fit for the Grant County location. Sears Hometown Stores are owned privately and can be stand-alone locations or add to an existing business like a hardware store and sell items like Kenmore and Craftsman appliances, hardware and electronic items. At this point, Sears is looking for an entrepreneur who would like to take on the Sears Hometown Store idea in Grant County. Sears contributes to marketing and other costs but the store is independent with no franchise fees. If you are interested in more information go to ownasearsstore.com.
