Salamonie Lake to host senior luncheon Feb. 7

The monthly Salamonie Senior Luncheon will be on Monday, Feb. 7 at noon at the Salamonie Lake Interpretive Center. Anyone age 50 or older is welcome to attend.Brian Ballinger will speak at the event. He was the senior animation professor at Huntington University and has more than 20 years of experience. He previously worked with Big Idea Entertainment, which produces the cartoon Veggie Tales. He will talk about wildlife and animal photography and explain the different types of lenses and techniques he uses for documenting animals and nature.Guests should bring a side dish to share, a beverage, and their own table service. Chicken and noodles and mashed potatoes will be provided by the Friends of the Upper Wabash Interpretive Services. Donations will be accepted to help defray costs.Seating is limited.
