PERU, IN- ReDiscover Downtown Peru announces October’s Second Saturday festivities including the return of Boo Bash. This Saturday, October 14th from 1-5pm in Downtown Peru will include Kids Corner with Halloween kids crafting and bounce houses on W. 5th Street at the Courthouse Square.
On The Lawn at Arnie’s Ace Hardware, ReDiscover Downtown Peru has planned a Costume Parade, live music, a beer tent, the Middle of Nowhere food truck, lawn games and the new smash hit game, Prizes of Peru, where contestants can sign up for free for a chance to win an opportunity to select from a game board full of mystery prizes contributed by downtown Peru businesses.
Prizes of Peru is MC’d by Cara D of 101.9 Rocks, and the businesses contributing prizes include: Wispy Willows, 101.9 Rocks, Arnie’s Ace Hardware, Peru Trading Post, 58 East, Elle Belle Boutique, Breakaway Bike & Fitness, Hard Times, Dreams to Reality Cakes, Legend’s Cocktail Lounge and many others.
Participating shops and retailers throughout Downtown Peru are preparing for costumed trick or treaters and will be treating shoppers with sales, special activities, discounts, live music and more.
