PERU, IN- Starting today, the Peru Police Department will once again begin accepting new blankets and stuffed animals for the 2022 holiday season. Due to the tremendous amount of donations received last year, they are NOT in need of gently used items this year.
PPD will accept NEW donations for blankets, stuffed animals, winter coats, winter hats, winter gloves, books, toys, gift cards/monetary donations.
This program has grown tremendously since it’s inception 7 years ago. The department thanks everyone who follows them both locally and across the country, what began as donations for gently used blankets and stuffed animals has grown into so much more.
All donations may be brought to the Peru Police Department Monday-Friday between the hours of 8:00am-4:00pm or you may contact an officer to pick the donation up from you if you wish.
