PERU, IN- The Peru Parks Department community Easter egg hunt will be taking place this Saturday, April 20, at 11am at lower Maconaquah Park. This event is for kids ages 12 and under and check-in begins at 10:15am. The first 300 children to check-in will be given an Easter egg hunting bag and other surprises. Included in the event is a 9,000 Easter egg hunt with candy for multiple age categories, 20 prizes (including bicycles), refreshments, the Easter Bunny, dancing and kids games, face painting, egg coloring, Easter crayon coloring, petting zoo, basketball shooting contest, soccer shoot around, DIY Easter bonnet, and more.
