PERU, IN- The Peru Board of Works met Tuesday evening and approved the request from Peru Fire Chief Erick Hawk that Probationary Firefighter Kevin Baker be given permanent status at the Peru Fire Department. Baker was hired in February 2018 and has completed all the requirements to gain the permanent status.
