PERU,IN Thursday night at 9:53 Peru Fire Department responded to 466 East Washington for a possible house fire. A neighbor advised that there was no smoke but saw a light upstairs. Dispatch was advised while the Peru Fire Department was enroute, that there was light smoke coming from the structure. The fire was found upstairs which had spread to the attic. The fire was extinguished and no one was injured in the incident.
