On Saturday, September 17th from 9am until Noon the American Red Cross and the Peru Fire Department are coming together to go around the city of Peru to make sure your smoke alarm is working at your residence. Carrie Harmon, from the American Red Cross:
They know they can’t get to all the homes in three hours, so if you have a question contact the American Red Cross or the Peru Fire Department about your smoke alarm. This is one way to help save a family member or a friend in Miami County.
