Otto J. Walker June 30, 1927 ~ January 29, 2018 Otto J. Walker, 90, Gas City, went to be with the Lord at 4 p.m. on Monday, January 29, 2018, in his home. He was born in Imlay City, Michigan on June 30, 1927 to the late Otto J. and Bernice L. (Rathka) Walker. He married Fondah Ann Smith on February 23, 1946. Otto retired as the superintendent of the Department of Public Works for Village of North Branch in 1991. He was a well-known horseman of American Quarter Horses in North Branch, Michigan for 40 years. Otto was very devoted to his family. He loved riding horses, showing horses, and enjoyed riding motorcycles. Otto is survived by his wife, Fondah; daughters, Bethany Malburg, Gas City and Mary Lynne Walker, Marion; brother Arnold (Sally) Walker, Lake City, Michigan; grandchildren, Donald Malburg, Allen (Susan) Malburg and Randall Malburg; great-grandchildren, A.J. Malburg, Andy Malburg, and Adley Malburg; and his beloved dog, Rosie. Otto was preceded in death by sisters, Lucille Seib-Ruby, Imogene B. Burke, Marion G. Ruby, and Donna Gouine. The family will receive visitors from 10:30 – 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, February 3, 2018, at Westview Wesleyan Church, 1300 W. 6th St, Jonesboro, Indiana. A celebration of life for Otto will begin at 12:30 p.m. with Pastors Chuck McCullum and Ryan Budde officiating. Burial will follow at Park Cemetery, Fairmount.
