Order Appointing Judge Pro Tempore Posted

The Honorable Christopher M. Goff, Judge of the Wabash
Superior Court, has notified the Court that he will be unavailable to perform the duties of the office beginning July 10, 2017 and further that he will be leaving the office on July 23, to assume the office of Justice of the Indiana Supreme Court on July 24, 2017.
We find that in the interest of continuing the orderly administration of justice and pursuant to Ind. Trial Rule 63, a Judge Pro Tempore should be appointed temporarily to discharge the duties of judge of the Wabash Superior Court. Senior Judge Karen A.Springer has indicated her willingness to serve as Judge Pro Tempore in the Wabash
Superior Court.
IT IS, THEREFORE, ORDERED
that Karen A. Springer is appointed as Judge Pro Tempore in the Wabash Superior
Court, effective July 10, 2017 . Judge Springer’s appointment shall remain effective until further order of this Court or a successor assumes the office, whichever occurs first.
This Order shall be sufficient authority for Judge Springer to continue the employment of
court personnel and otherwise discharge the duties of Judge of the Wabash Superior
Court. Judge Springer shall be entitled to compensation for this service, paid by the State of Indiana, computed at the same rate as the regular judge commencing from the effective date of his appointment, pursuant to T.R. 63(D).
