Only Minor Damage Reported From Last Night’s Storm

MIBASH AREA,Indiana – Damage assessments are beginning to come in from the overnight line of severe storms and Huntington and Wells Counties seemed to suffer the most damage. Several Barns were destroyed in Huntington County from Andrews to Bluffton. The National Weather Service has not confirmed any tornadoes in northeast Indiana but radar reportedly picked up storm rotation in the southern Kosciusko County. It is yet unknown whether a twister touched down in the area. Reports of a tornado near Akron in northern Fulton County are unconfirmed.

Trees were reported down in Warsaw, Silver Lake and in Huntington County. Thousands of people also apparently lost power during the storm. Thankfully, no injuries are reported.
