MSD of Wabash County School Board Meeting Review

The MSD of Wabash County School Board met to conduct business on Tuesday night.

Donations were approved totaling $970 which will provide elementary students with a new Scholastic book each month throughout the school year.

The Board approved the renaming of the Northfield Jr/Sr High outdoor track. The track will now be known as “Leming Track” in honor of longtime Northfield Cross Country and Track & Field coach and teacher, Dick Leming. Coach Leming shared during the meeting that he came to Northfield in 1968 when there was no track. Soon afterward, Northfield and Southwood were among the first schools in Indiana to have an all-weather track installed.
