WABASH COUNTY, Ind. – On June 14, 2019 at 11:29am the Wabash County Sheriff’s Office was notified of an accident on County Road 500 West just north of County Road 900 S. Upon arrival deputies observed a 2009 Hyundai Sonata with extensive front end damage. The single occupant of the vehicle, Kent Workman, was pronounced dead at the scene. The investigation revealed that Mr. Workman was southbound on County Road 500 West and for an unknown reason left the roadway and struck a tree on the west side of the roadway. This is an ongoing investigation. Assisting the Sheriff’s Office at the scene were: The Indiana State Police, Wabash Fire Department, Noble Fire Department and the Wabash County Coroner’s Office.
