Marion Police seek information on shooting, victim injured

MARION, IN- On September 26, 2022 at approximately 7:10 pm, Grant County Central dispatch received a 911 call in regards to a shooting in the 2300 block of South Adams Street in Marion, Indiana.

Officers arrived in the area and discovered a red liquid consistent with blood on the front porch of a residence. Officer entered the house for a welfare check and found no victims inside.

While at the scene officers were notified a gunshot victim had arrived at Marion Health. The victim identified as Jureall D Miles, age 29. The victim stated that he was walking down the street when he heard gun shots. The victim then stated that he then realized that he had been shot. The victim ran to a relative’s house and was then transported to Marion Health. The victim told officers that he did not see who had shot him.

The victim was then transported to a medical facility outside of Grant County for treatment of his wounds.
