Marion Police Have Skimming Suspect

MARION,Indiana — There has been a rash of credit card fraud in our area. Now police in Marion think they may have a suspect. Police have warned residents about credit card fraud related to skimming in the area. Area police have had a rash of credit card fraud cases related to a skimming device found on a gas pump at the BP station at 2nd and Baldwin Avenue in Marion. Unauthorized transactions have occurred at Walmart in Indianapolis, Anderson, Greenwood and Fort Wayne.
Police describe the suspect as a thin black male with short black hair. They have surveillance photos of the man. He is possible driving a white SUV with a bike rack on the back blocking the license plate. If you think you have seen this vehicle or know this person call the Marion Police or Crime Stoppers at 765 662-8477. And, always check your credit card statement
