Marilyn Sue Whistler, 75, of Otterbein, Indiana (born and raised in Peru), passed away on January 28, 2018 at Greenhill Manor in Fowler, Indiana.
She was born on May 9, 1942 in Peru, Indiana to Kenneth and Golda (Miller) Stapleton, and she was employed at Redmon’s in Peru.
Marilyn is survived by her husband, James Whistler, as well as her children: Janet (Allen) Galbraith of Peru, Kenneth (Rebecca) Galbraith of Rochester, and Darren Galbraith of Rochester. Also surviving are 16 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents. Also, husbands Jackie Galbraith and Robert Franklin.
Friends may call from 11am – 1pm on Thursday, February 1, 2018 at the Apostolic Revival Center Church, 307 Wampler Street, Peru, Indiana. Funeral service will follow at 1pm, with Pastor Chris Reed officiating. Burial will follow at Reyburn Cemetery in Peru.
