WABASH,Indiana – Just a reminder, today is the last day for candidates to file in the 2016 Wabash County Primary Election which take place on May 3rd. Those looking to file their papers must do so by 12 noon today in the Wabash County Clerk’s Office, located in the Judicial Center next to the courthouse.
The seats up for grabs include:
Circuit Court Judge
Auditor
Treasurer
Coroner
Surveyor
County Commissioner – District 1
County Commissioner – District 3
County Council Member – At Large (3)
State Convention Delegate – Democrat
State Convention Delegate – Republican
Precinct Committeeman – Republican
As of yesterday, 42 total filings had been submitted for the various offices. County Clerk Elaine Martin told MiBash News that is it not unusual to get number of filings on the last day.
