Joe Allen Brubaker, 72, of rural North Manchester, Indiana, died at 10:35 am, Monday, May 13, 2024, at his home. He was born on March 16, 1952, in Huntington, Indiana, to Donald William and Elsie Ellen (Skiles) Brubaker.
Joe was a 1970 graduate of Manchester High School. He married Kimberly Selvey in North Manchester on July 28, 1995. Joe worked at the Manchester Foundry retiring in 2016 and also worked at Kendall Electric, in Warsaw, from 2018 to the present. He enjoyed woodworking, classic cars, playing golf, and riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle.
He is survived by his wife, Kimberly Brubaker of North Manchester; three children, Cameron (Lindsay) Brubaker of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Anissa (Jon) Justice of Warsaw, Indiana, and Mindi (Evan) Nichols of Fort Wayne; 8 grandchildren; and two sisters, Susan Applegate of North Manchester, and Rosalyn (Allan) Boocher of South Whitley, Indiana. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Joyce Brubaker, and nephew, Troy Boocher.
Funeral services will be 10:30 am, Thursday, May 16, 2024, at Grandstaff-Hentgen Bender Chapel, 207 W. Main St., North Manchester, with Steve Kingery officiating. Burial will be in the Old German Baptist Church Cemetery, North Manchester. Friends may call 4-8 pm Wednesday, at the funeral home, and one hour prior to the service Thursday.
