Ivan Paul Leahy, Jr., 61, of Wabash, Indiana, died at 2:15 am, Wednesday, April 24, 2024, at Century Villa Health Care in Greentown, Indiana. He was born on January 19, 1963, in Logansport, Indiana, to Ivan Paul Sr. and Mary Elizabeth (Beckham) Leahy.
Ivan was a 1981 graduate of Marion High School. He was a member of the United Auto Workers. Ivan enjoyed playing sports, watching the TV series Combat, collecting Harley-Davidson die cast, and especially spending time with his kids and grandkids.
He is survived by two children, Christopher Lee Leahy of Marion, and Marcy (Cody) Catterlin of Monticello, Indiana, two step children, Aaron Sutton of Marion, and Allison (Donald Lawson) Oliveri of Greentown, Indiana, several grandchildren, two sisters, and special friend Betty Legg of Wabash. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister.
Funeral services will be 2:00 pm, Friday, May 3, 2024, at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Avenue, Wabash, with Rev. Nathan Whybrew officiating. Friends may call 1-2 pm Friday, at the funeral home.
Preferred memorial is Dallas Winchester Senior Center.
