ISP Peru Taking Applications for Secretary Position

PERU, Ind. – The Indiana State Police is currently taking applications for the position of secretary IV until Monday, January, 23, 2017 at 3:30 p.m.

The selected candidate will serve as a civilian employee providing secretarial and administrative support to the district command staff at the Indiana State Police Peru Post.

The secretary IV job is performed in an office environment with minimal physical effort required. Applicants for this position must have a high school diploma or G.E.D. Candidates must be able to pass a typing test and have the ability to proofread accurately. Applicants should also have the ability to work with computerized word processing, spreadsheet, databases and specialized software. They should also have a general knowledge of office procedures and clerical skills.
