MIAMI COUNTY, Ind. – The Indiana Department of Transportation announces that US 31 in Miami County is scheduled to be resurfaced on or after Friday, May 5, weather permitting. The asphalt resurface work will take place between State Road 16 and County Rd. West 100 N. During the day, drivers are cautioned to watch for lane closures in the construction zone. A construction zone speed limit of 45 mph will be strictly enforced. INDOT reminds drivers to use caution and consider worker safety when driving through any active work zone. The project was awarded to INDOT contractor E&B Paving for $4.1 million. Work is expected to be completed in late October.
