MIAMI COUNTY, Ind. – The Indiana Department of Transportation announces that signal maintenance is planned for S.R. 218 near U.S. 31 in Miami County, on or after today, July 27, weather permitting. INDOT maintenance crews plan to replace a traffic detector loop between C.R. S 220 W and U.S. 31 during daytime hours. Drivers should watch for stopped traffic and flaggers in the work zone. INDOT reminds drivers to use caution and consider worker safety when driving through any active construction zone. The work is expected to be complete the same day, weather permitting.
