The Indiana Department of Transportation announces that lane restrictions are scheduled for S.R. 13//S.R. 15 through the City of Wabash beginning Wednesday, Aug. 8, weather permitting.
Beginning Wednesday, northbound traffic on S.R. 13/S.R. 15 will be shifted to the center lane between the Wabash River and Canal Street. The lane restrictions will allow contractors to construct the new storm sewer, curbs and sidewalks in the area.
INDOT reminds drivers to use caution and consider worker safety when driving through an active construction zone. Drivers should be prepared for stopped traffic.
Restrictions on the northbound lanes of S.R. 13/S.R. 15 are expected to remain through mid-November, weather permitting. Later this winter, contractors plan to shift the southbound lanes while working on the west side of the roadway.
This contract was awarded to Phend & Brown for $2.9 million.
