Forensic Scientist EVII- Laboratory Manager (Vacancy# 2020078):Successful applicants must have a High School Diploma or possess an equivalent GED. A Bachelor’s Degree is required, preferably in a natural science, forensic science, or management. Three (3) years full time experience in crime scene investigation, a forensic discipline, polygraph examination, or management. General knowledge of each forensic discipline. Must have the ability to comprehend the rules of evidence. Must have completed a minimum of one semester of Physics and Analytical Chemistry/Instrumental Methods; plus one year of the following courses: General and Organic Chemistry, including lecture and associated laboratory classes. Basic knowledge of the theory and practical operation of a variety of scientific instrumentation and analytical techniques. Must be able to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with both scientific and nonscientific personnel.
