IDVA Awards Grants to 13 Private Organizations

INDIANAPOLIS – The Indiana Department of Veterans’ Affairs (IDVA) has selected 13 private organizations to receive nearly one million dollars through the Grants for Veterans’ Services (GVS) program that will assist them in helping to end homelessness among Indiana’s veteran population.

Through the GVS program, the IDVA awarded grants ranging from $25,000 to $100,000. The IDVA will also assist grant recipients in their outreach efforts with their customers and their communities.

The GVS program began through an act of legislation designed to provide funding for organizations that serve veterans.
