WABASH, Ind. – The Annual Hospital Gala is Nov.12th at the Honeywell Center. It will be a great night with friends celebrating great local healthcare, featuring local entertainment- this year –our own talk show “Late Night in Wabash”.   As always we will have great live and silent auction items with dinner and dancing.  It is important to note that, for over 20 years, 100% of all donations will stay and be used in Wabash County for patients of our hospital.

Reservations can be made on line or by calling the Foundation office. If you are interested in purchasing a ticket to attend, donating an auction item or making a sponsorship gift go to Parkview.com/wabashgala. You will make a difference to our community. “All donations benefit our Women’s Center. Every gift given to help the Gala will assist people in our own community,” states Jim Reynolds, Foundation Board President. In-kind gifts and cash gifts of $500 or more receive complimentary reservations to the Gala.

For the second year, gifts and proceeds of the event will help purchase a new stereotactic breast biopsy system for the Women’s Center at Parkview Wabash Hospital. The equipment will enable women to receive a minimally-invasive biopsy procedure with many benefits over surgically performed biopsies. It is highly accurate, safe, nearly pain-free and less expensive than open surgery biopsies. This piece of equipment will assure that our Women’s Center continues to offer the best in diagnostic processes.

Lisa Keffaber-Downs, owner of Ellen’s, is donating 10% of the green accessories purchased at her store located in downtown Wabash. This is yet another example of how we are working together to provide new technology that will help the fight against breast cancer locally in Wabash County.

The event is open to the public! Please plan to come and help us celebrate excellent healthcare in Wabash County. Reservations can be made on line at Parkview.com/WabashGala. Gifts from corporate and individual donors, small or large are appreciated! If you desire to help or would like to make a donation to support other areas of the hospital, please contact Beth Squires Stein, Foundation Director, at the Foundation Office at 569-2254 or Lizabeth.stein@parkview.com.
