Honeywell Arts Academy Alumni – Tues., April 23 at 6:00 p.m. Doors open at 5:30 p.m.
Honeywell Arts Academy Alumni will reunite to perform an evening of selections from each performer’s favorite repertoire. Following the concert, mingle with the alumni and other guests while you enjoy cocktails, mocktails, and heavy hors d’oeuvres. Honeywell Arts Academy is comprised of three full-scholarship programs for emerging musicians. Led by Artistic Director Ranaan Meyer of the GRAMMY-winning group Time for Three and world-renowned faculty, each week-long program takes
place at the Eagles Theatre and culminates in a live performance featuring participants and faculty.
Founded in 2020, the Academy is an expansion of Wabass, a music program established in 2008 for double bassists. The mission of the Academy is to foster an inclusive and supportive environment where ideas are free flowing between all. This creates a revolving door of expertise, a philosophy the Academy refers to as the “sharing of knowledge.”
Tickets for the evening are $50 and include the performance and heavy hors d’oeuvres. Tickets for the three-show series are $175, including the May 7 date featuring the Patterson Robards Duo and the May 21 date featuring violinist Sherry Hong and pianist Ryan Behan. Tickets are available online at honeywellarts.org or by calling the Honeywell Box Office at 260.563.1102.
