Wabash County, IN (October 13, 2020) – Grow Wabash County was thrilled to welcome
Hampton Inn Wabash during its grand opening celebration on Friday, Oct. 9.
Owners Raj Chandat and Suresh Patel were joined by family, friends and managers of their
other area properties for a ribbon-cutting ceremony during the opening celebration. Chandat
paid tribute to the support he and his team had received from the City of Wabash, Grow
Wabash County and Halderman Real Estate & Farm Management to make their plans a reality.
The ribbon-cutting was followed by a reception and tours of the various amenities at the
hotel.

Grow Wabash County has worked closely with Hampton Inn since the hotel broke ground in
July 2018. Upon finishing construction last month, the Hampton Inn Wabash held a soft
opening and began welcoming guests. The new hotel features a modern lobby and lounge
area as well as high-quality amenities such as an indoor pool, fitness center, conference
meeting rooms and a paved patio area.
