Grow Wabash County to Hold Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for Ohh My! Cakes

WABASH COUNTY, IN (February 13, 2019) – Grow Wabash County is excited to announce an official Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for Ohh My! Cakes on Friday, March 1st at 4:30 p.m.

Julie and Debra McCoart have operated Ohh My! Cakes for seven years and opened their doors

in downtown Wabash on January 17, 2019. The McCoarts purchased the building, formerly The

D Shoppe, three years ago. With the help of family and friends, husbands, Kyle and Mark,

Julie’s parents, Gary and Deb Henderson; aunt and uncle, Kathy and Randy Henderson; Julie’s

cousin and her family, Josh and Sarah Gaylourd; and sisters, Shelby Braun and Rachael Gouvan

the space was renovated to make their dreams become a reality.

When asked what she was looking forward to about opening their business in downtown

Wabash, Julie replied “We are extremely excited to be a part of such a wonderful downtown

family of small businesses.”

Ohh My! Cakes is open Tuesday through Friday 6:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. and Saturdays from 6:00

a.m. – noon. The bakery offers cupcakes, cookies, cinnamon rolls, brownies, pie, and donuts.

Desserts for special occasions are also available, such as wedding and specialty cakes.

delicious, and their storefront adds to the mix of businesses that make our downtown community

The ribbon cutting is scheduled for Friday, March 1, 2019 at 4:30 p.m. at Ohh My! Cakes at 2

West Market St, Wabash, IN. Customers will have the opportunity to enter for a chance to win a

cake or gift basket and children will have the opportunity to “guess the number in the jar” for a

prize.
