WABASH – Gebhart Holdings is pleased to announce the acquisition of Market Street Grill and that the company has officially taken possession as the new owners of the long-standing staple in downtown Wabash. Gebhart Holdings purchased the restaurant in May but only recently is in full operational care and possession of the business.
“We’re honored to have purchased Market Street Grill and to carry on the tradition that it has held as a place to gather over a meal and drinks with friends in downtown Wabash. At this point, we don’t foresee making significant changes, but do hope to make some improvements where needed,” said Owner Benjamin Gebhart. “We’re excited to appoint Isaias Tactuk as the General Manager of Market Street, he has over fifteen yearsof experience in the restaurant industry and will bring fresh eyes and expertise to the restaurant,” Gebhart continued.
Market Street Grill is known for its prime rib and drunken chicken as well as their signature Long Island Iced tea. The restaurant has been in downtown Wabash for over 25 yearsserving up American cuisine in a casual and welcoming atmosphere with nearly one hundred percent of its food made from scratch.
