Frehse retires from Wabash Police Department

WABASH, IN- After 25 years of service at the Wabash City Police Department, Stacie Frehse has decided to take her law enforcement career in another direction. Stacie began her career at the WPD in December of 1998 as a dispatcher. In 2002, Stacie was given the responsibility of being IDACS Coordinator and Dispatch Supervisor. In 2010 when city and county dispatchers merged into a Central Dispatch, Stacie became the Records Administrator along with remaining the IDACS Coordinator for WPD. Stacie’s dedication to the WPD and Law Enforcement has been monumental, in the WPD officers performing their jobs. Her duties in managing case work filed by officers to the Wabash County Prosecutor's Office have been a large part of criminal charges and convictions for the department. Stacie never hesitated in helping officers at all hours of the day or night. Stacie’s dedication to the job and abilities will be greatly missed by WPD. 

The Wabash Police Department would like to thank Stacie for her twenty-five years of service and wishes the best for her in her continued career. Stacie will continue to serve the citizens of Wabash city and County as she will take the role of Assistant Director at Wabash County Central Dispatch.
