Wabash County 4-H Junior Leaders would like to invite all Wabash County
Emergency Personnel to a Free Dinner on Friday March 20, 2020 at 6:00 p.m. at
the Lagro Community Building, Lagro Indiana, 230 Buchanan Street. This
includes all Firefighters including volunteers, Police and Sheriff Departments,
EMA, Dispatchers, EMT, and Indiana Conservation Officers.
Blake Huston, President of the Wabash County 4-H Junior Leader Project , announced,
“The evening’s menu will be a taco bar and ice cream bar. We can’t think of a better
group of people to represent and honor for an evening than the Wabash County
Emergency Personnel, who serve and put their lives on the line for our County daily.”
Emergency personnel are encouraged to bring a guest with them for the meal.
There will also be plenty of parking so Emergency Vehicles are welcome.
Jr. Leaders is a project designed to teach 4-H members in grades 7-12 leadership skills
above and beyond what is being taught in General Club meetings. It is the expectation
to develop these skills in meetings and service events such as the March of Dimes
Walk, Outreach Program with Senior Citizens and Career Development Events.
