Fire Overnight in North Manchester

NORTH MANCHESTER IN – Around 4:40 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 19, the North Manchester Fire Department received a call about a fire at 216 E. Main Street, the former location of The Brewhouse.
At least 14 organizations were called to combat the blaze, including Duke Energy to cut power to the building. That resulted in several homes going without power for a short time.
There have been no injuries reported, but several nearby businesses received damage from the smoke.
According to NMFD Chief Cam Kissenger, multiple occupants of buildings were evacuated.
