CASS COUNTY, Ind. – On December 20th, 2016 at approximately 12:50am, the New Waverly Fire Department Station #1 responded to a report of a structure fire in Cass County, on County Road 1075 E. just South of Logansport Road. Upon arrival the structure, owned by Ryan and Tiffany Oglesby, was fully engulfed. A pole barn like structure that had a 16×40 Gabled on a 2 story, with a 45×90 Shop, along with numerous tools, equipment, materials, and vehicles inside the structure was a total loss.
Firefighters were on-scene for approximately five hours. Other Fire Departments that assisted with manpower and water delivery were; Walton VFD, 12-Mile VFD, and Mexico VFD. No one was injured during this incident.
After the Fire Investigation was conducted on this structure, Investigators have classified this fire as undetermined.
