Wabash, IN- Mark your calendars for Friday November 17 & Saturday November 18 for the return of the Downtown Holiday Night to Remember. This annual event has been expanded to two days of downtown shopping, fellowship, celebration and fun.
Business open houses kick off on Friday, November 17 at 4pm until 8pm, with the Celebration of Light taking place on the Courthouse Lawn at 6:30 pm. Santa will be listening to wishes at Wabash City Hall starting at 7:15p.m. Open houses will continue on Saturday from 10am – 3pm.
Just like in year’s past, participants are invited to have fun with the Stamping Map, which will be available at area businesses. Featured businesses include: Wabash City Hall, Black Squirrel Toy Store, Midwest Eye Consultants Borders and Beyond, Crow’s Nest Antique Mall, Bash Boutique, Stinson’s Trading Post, Francis Shoppe, Modoc’s Market, Wabash Marketplace, Inc., Wabash County Historical Museum, Charley Creek Inn, Wabash Presbyterian Church, Marelli’s, Bellazo, Pizza King, Center Court Barbershop, Make It Your Own, Twisted Scissors Salon, Marksmen’s Guns, Oswalt Thomas, Visit Wabash County, Chapman’s, Tobacco Free Coalition, Dr. James Ford Home, Honeywell Center, Schlemmer Bros, Eclectic Shoppe, Ellen’s Bridal and Dress Boutique, Market Street Grill, Tiny Threads Children’s Boutique, and Purdue Extension Office of Wabash County.
Sponsored by Wabash Marketplace, and the Downtown Merchants, participants will have the opportunity to win Downtown Bucks. Prizes will include: $1,000, $500, $250, and $150 all in Downtown Bucks. Also, there will be (2) $50 Kids Cash Winners.
This year will again include a People’s Choice Award for the business that is decorated the best, has the best window display and shows off the most holiday spirit. Voting occurs during the two –day event.
