WABASH – On January 9, 2017, at approximately 8:10 a.m. Wabash City responded to the area of Wabash and Main Street where an unresponsive female was located. Wabash Police allege that Genna M. Garcia, 35, Wabash was located lying on the sidewalk deceased. Wabash Police in conjunction with the Wabash County Coroner’s office are actively investigating the death of Garcia. An autopsy is scheduled later today. Details of the death investigation are not able to be released at this time due to the active investigation. Wabash City 1st shift uniform officers, Detective John Krhin and Wabash City Fire were at the scene.
