PERU,Indiana – Monday morning, the Miami County Commissioners met and discussed repairing the roads. Miami county has approximately 800 miles of roads that belongs to the county. To qualify for the grant money to help maintain the roads, you must have a Transportation Asset Plan consists of Evaluation of all roads, rating on a scale of 1 to 10, and then put together a plan that says we are going to make these improvements to these roads this year. County Commissioners also approved the National Day of Prayer on Thursday May 5th at 12 noon. The patrons will be able to use the West Entrance at the Courthouse.
