Starting today, Wabash City Police are participating in the national Click It
or Ticket Enforcement campaign. This enhanced enforcement period will
continue through June 6, 2021. Drivers and all passengers must have a seat
belt on. Drivers can also be cited for each unbuckled passenger under the
age of 16 and children under eight must be properly restrained in a federally
approved child or booster seat. “Officers will be writing citations to anyone
caught not wearing a seatbelt,” said Patrolman Colin Gouveia.
