WABASH, Ind. – For the safety of Wabash residents, this is a fireworks reminder.
According to the Indiana Code, the following times are the only times permitted to set off fireworks.
June 29 – July 3: from 5pm until two hours after sunset.
July 4: from 10am until midnight
July 5 – July 9: from 5pm until two hours after sunset
Fireworks can be set off any day between the hours of 9 and 11pm.
December 31: from 10am to 1am
Fireworks can only be purchased by person 18 years of age or older.
Fireworks use is limited to personal property, the property of someone who has approved the use of fireworks or at a location designated specifically for use of consumer fireworks.
Remember some Veterans and dogs don’t like fireworks. Be considerate.
