Chili For Charity Recipients Announced

(Wabash,IN) Earmarking $10,000 from the 2016 Annual Campaign, Wabash County United Fund (UF) will once again offer a funding partnership with the Wabash Cannonball Chili for Charity (CFC) for the 7th consecutive year.

A multitude of applications were submitted to the Chili for Charity Committee for consideration for funding from the annual cook-off scheduled for October 15 at Paradise Spring Historical Park. Charities that have been selected to benefit from this year’s fund raiser are Best of the Best, Honeywell Educational Outreach Program, 85 Hope, Blessings in a Backpack, Family Service Society – Hands of Hope, Wabash County Cancer Society, The ARC of Wabash County, Lafontiane Lions Club, Lagro Park Board, and Paradise Spring Historical Park .

Wabash Cannonball Chili for Charity is pleased to partner with United Fund again. Todd Titus, president for the organization.

Funding is reserved for non-profit organizations serving Wabash County. United Fund focuses on three main funding initiatives: Income/Financial Stability, Health/Healthy Living and Education.
