MIAMI COUNTY, IN- Purdue Extension of Miami County recently announced local farmer, Janie Hattery, generously directed a $5,000 Bayer Fund America’s Farmers Grow Communities donation to the Miami County 4-H Council. The Miami County 4-H Council will use the funds to enrich the educational opportunities for the youth in the community.
“We’re very grateful to Janie Hattery for her time and effort spent reaching out for this donation to the council. Janie has been a long time, invaluable supporter of Miami County 4-H. These funds will go a long way to promote our goal of providing impactful education and hands on learning opportunities for kids,” said Leyna Washburn, Miami County 4-H Council President.
They would like to thank the Miami County 4-H Council, Janie Hattery, and America’s Farmers Grow Communities for their support of Miami County Youth Education.
