Applications being accepted for Peru Police Department patrol officer positions

This from the Peru Police Department: PERU, IN- The Peru Police Department will be conducting a hiring session for the position of patrol officer. The testing process begins on Saturday, January 23rd, 2021 at 8:00 a.m. and will be conducted at the Peru Fire Department which is located at 85 W. Canal Street in Peru, Indiana. 

APPLICATIONS MUST BE TURNED IN BY 4:00pm on January 22nd in order to test. 
The first portion of the testing will be the physical which will be the ILEA exit standards (https://www.in.gov/ilea/2338.htm). If you pass the physical, you will move onto the written portion of the exam. 
AGE REQUIREMENTS: You must be at least 21 years of age to apply for the position(s) and not have exceeded your 40th birthday by time of your appointment should you receive a conditional offer of employment.
