PERU, Ind. – Another round of the Blight Elimination Program in the city of Peru is well underway. Peru received about $823,000 from Indiana’s Hardest Hit Fund Blight Elimination Program – a state program aimed to assist Indiana communities in demolishing abandoned homes and stabilizing property values – to demolish 37 houses.
