PERU, IN- This Wednesday the American Red Cross will be holding a special blood drive in honor of 11-year-old Peru native Hayes Bowman at the Parkview United Methodist Church from 11:30am – 5:30pm. The church is located at 1785 State Road 19 in Peru. Currently there is a national plasma shortage which has prevented blood infusions that Hayes and others need on a regular basis to help fight infection. For more information visit redcrossblood.org.
