85 United, a Night of Worship for Community to be held Wednesday, June 7

WABASH, Ind. – 85 United is a night of worship for the community of Wabash.  It is much more than a concert or an outreach event.  Is this something new, yes, but it has been taking shape and form for many years.

You may recall a local Wabash musical group, Miles From Home, from the early 2000’s. Their dreams and musical ambition as a band landed them on the East Coast with the bright lights and connections of New York City.  Their journey included a 2004 USO World Tour for the Troops in the Middle East. The tour included 7 different countries and concluded with a homecoming concert in the Honeywell Center’s, Ford Theater.

The founding members of that musical group, Dustin Hurst and Brian Bassett, are now full time Worship Pastors for local Churches.  The other founding member of the group is Dennis Wiles.  The trio continue to travel in music ministry together as a Christian rock and worship band, known as 390 East.  They have been playing music together for over 20 years now.

As they dig deeper into faith and ministry, the trio share a burden to use music ministry to connect people to Christ.  Through their 20 years of music experience, they have grown in relationship to Christ and have seen His power and love pour out in concert settings across the United States.

Through 85 United, the trio will collaborate with other worship leaders, singers, and musicians including Courtney McClure, Madison Rebholz, Deanna Bowman, Mike Haarer and new lead guitar player for 390 East, Nate Young.

Together, they are working hard to put together a high energy and passionate night of worship for the community.  They hope the event is a true inspiration to all who attend.

85 United will take place on Wednesday night, June 7, 2017, at the Historic Eagles Theatre. It will begin at 7pm.  The ticket price for this event is only $5.00 dollars.  The proceeds of the event will go to help New Beginnings Ministries.
