Wabash, Ind. –The Wabash Marketplace First Friday Committee is pleased to announce details on this upcoming First Friday event. First Friday encourages the community to celebrate in downtown Wabash with this month’s theme “Hometown Holiday” from 5-8 p.m. Friday, December 2nd. This monthly event packs downtown with many activities!
First Friday participants should travel to each of the featured businesses to get their map stamped with the seal of approval before moving on to the next location. Once the map is full, you can drop it off at any of the eight featured locations. You will then be entered to win the First Friday Basket loaded with $250 worth of local goodies. December’s First Friday featured businesses are Crow’s Nest Antique Mall, Charley Creek Inn Ice Cream and Candy Shoppe, Bellazo, Wabash County Historical Museum, Black Squirrel, Eclectic Shoppe, Borders & Beyond, and Market Street Mercantile
Wabash Marketplace will be set up at the Welcome Center to discuss the Riverfront Development. This great development cannot be possible without your support. Marelli’s will be donating 10% of sales towards this development! Additionally, live music and different events will be occurring downtown as well. The Wabash County Historical Museum will be hosting Family Fun Night from 4-8p.m. This month will feature Visits with Santa, Cookies, Kids Crafts with local artist Erica Tyson, and the Wabash Carnegie Library will be here reading books and giving away children’s books. Market Street Mercantile will be hosting their Grand Opening event. Bash Boutique will be giving 10% of sales towards Wabash County Christmas Spirit. Twisted Scissors is doing a Christmas Giveaway- Buy any retail product and enter drawing now through Dec. 15th. Bellazo is doing $5 fill a bag. Alley Dog Art Gallery will have 20% off all items over $100, refreshments, and a drawing for a $50 gift certificate that can be used for any artwork in the gallery, good for 1 year. Borders and Beyond will be doing 15% Off Custom framing 5p.m.-8p.m. with pie samples from Aunt Kathy’s Kitchen. The Crow’s Nest Antique Mall will have individual booth sales, refreshments, and more! Filament Tattoo will have 25% off all jewelry and merchandise. Stinson’s Trading Post have sales from 25-50% off! Twenty, Market Street Grill, Pizza King, and The Curb all have great food for you to eat as well! The Curb will also have Curby’s Fish Dinners with the shake of the month being Peppermint.
Finish the night by watching Moana at Eagles Theatre at 7 p.m.
